Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Engine Configuration: Configure and maintain Vertex Tax engine or other tax engines to ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance.
- US Sales and Use Tax (SUT): Apply basic knowledge of US SUT to support tax-related processes and ensure compliance.
- Troubleshooting and JIRA Management: Raise and manage tickets in JIRA, follow up with fintech teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Process Mapping and Solution Design: Analyze and map business processes to identify and implement effective tax solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all tax-related configurations and processes.
- Independent Work: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative in problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Vertex Tax engine configurations (preferred) or other tax engines.
- Basic understanding of US Sales and Use Tax (SUT).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and managing JIRA tickets.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to map processes and design solutions.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
