Job Title: Finance Accounting Analyst
Industry: Diamond and gems certification
Location: Mumbai, India
Experience Required:  5+ years
Qualification: B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)

Job Summary:

IGI, a global leader in the lab grown and natural Diamond certification industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Accounting Analyst to join our finance team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, hands-on experience in financial reporting, and proficiency in Excel and SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth financial processes.
• Utilize SAP for transaction processing and financial reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Com degree with a strong academic record.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF etc.) (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of SAP (FICO/HANNA) (Added advantage).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in working in an service industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
