Job Description
- Instruction and training of personal protective equipment (PPE`s).
- Organizing and conduct safety training for employees.
- Organize safety appliances committee meeting.
- Site inspection for monitoring unsafe act and unsafe condition.
- Accident investigation and reporting.
- Conducting Mock Drill for various emergency plans.
- Preparing on site emergency plan.
- Maintaining good Housekeeping and industrial hygiene.
- Educate people for proper use of PPE`s.
- Preparing checklist for different nature of job based on risk assessment.
- Preparing safe working procedure based on job safety analysis.
- Purchase all types of PPE`s safety equipments, fire extinguishers and first aid materials.
- Investigating of all work-related accidents/incidents.
- Inspection, rendering and advice for procurement of best quality personal protective equipment and lifesaving equipment, including proper usage.
- Prevention of injury and damage to plant and equipment.
- Explosive safety handling and preparation.
- Training of all personnel with respect of safe work method and toss prevention techniques.
- Inspection of fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, fire extinguisher, fire hydrant systems and fire pump houses.
- Advising of all aspects of fire and safety and enforces safety rules in accordance with the Company's policy.
- Daily inspection of project site work permit system.
- Weekly contractor safety, near miss incidents and accident report and others o submit client representatives.
- Conduct tool box meeting.
- Workshop and toolbox inspection and reporting and Site Housekeeping.
- Publishing safety chronicles and newsletters.
- Liaison with government authority and various clients, conducting meeting, seminars on site emergency dull, etc.
Professional Qualification
- Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized institute/university
- Formal training (certificate course/diploma/degree) in Environment
- Trained Lead/Internal Auditor for OHSAS 18001 & EMS ISO 14001
- 8-13 yrs of experience in construction industry.
