Job Title: Analyst/ Senior Analyst Residential Mortgage Underwriting
Experience Required: 38 Years
Shift Timing: 5:30 PM 2:30 AM IST (US Shift)
Location: Noida, Sector 63 (On-site)
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Analyst with a strong background in residential mortgage underwriting to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of income analysis, credit and asset review, and underwriting across various conventional and government loan programs including FHA, VA, USDA, and Bond loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed income calculation and analysis for salaried, self-employed, and non-traditional income sources.
- Conduct comprehensive underwriting reviews for residential mortgage applications ensuring adherence to agency and investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac).
- Assess borrower eligibility, creditworthiness, and overall loan risk in accordance with FHA, VA, USDA, Bond program guidelines.
- Review and analyze credit reports, asset statements, property appraisals, and title documents.
- Validate compliance with underwriting criteria, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and turnaround time in processing and decisioning loan files.
- Collaborate with US-based teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.
- Keep up to date with current underwriting guidelines and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 38 years of hands-on experience in residential mortgage underwriting, including conventional and government loan programs.
- Strong understanding of FHA, VA, USDA, and Bond loan underwriting guidelines.
- Proficient in income calculation methodologies and documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with AUS systems (DU, LP) and LOS platforms (e.g., Encompass, Calyx).
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with US counterparts.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
Shift & Work Environment:
- Shift Timing: 5:30 PM 2:30 AM IST (Night Shift, aligned with US hours)
- Work Location: Noida, Sector 63 (Work from Office)
