Data Engineer
Experience: 4-6 years
Location - Bangalore
Work Mode - Hybrid
Advanced Report and Dashboard Development:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create highly interactive and intuitive visualizations that facilitate data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and performance in all BI solutions.
Complex Data Modeling:
- Develop and maintain complex data models using advanced DAX and Power Query techniques.
- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and ease of use.
- Mentor junior developers in best practices for data modeling and DAX development.
Data Integration and ETL Processes:
- Lead the integration of diverse data sources, including SQL databases like MySQL, Postgres, APIs, cloud-based platforms, and NoSQL DBs.
- Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Leverage Python programming to build custom ETL pipelines, automate data workflows, and handle complex transformation logic where necessary.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Requirement Gathering:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, including executives and department heads, to gather and refine BI requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into technical specifications and actionable BI solutions.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights.
Performance Tuning and Optimization:
- Proactively monitor and improve the performance of Power BI solutions.
- Implement and enforce best practices for report development, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and updates to BI solutions.
Documentation and Process Improvement:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all BI solutions, including data models, processes, and reports.
- Continuously improve BI processes and methodologies, staying current with the latest Power BI features and industry trends.
Leadership and Project Management:
- Lead BI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, data science, and business units, to deliver
- integrated BI solutions.
