Job Description
Role & responsibilities
JD:
- Serves as engineering resource in cross functional teams dealing with challenging engineering problems or opportunities.
- Leads multidimensional projects that involve multiple teams. Leads and works with other software engineers on design best practices and conducts code review.
- Resolves complex engineering problems, collaborating with others.
- Provides input and helps define functional requirements gathering and detailed design.
- Apply engineering patterns and principles.
- Design, develop and implement software utilizing an agile project cycle.
- Ensures quality of software and acts as gatekeeper of change control.
- Mentoring junior members of the team and raising the bar for technical knowledge is an important aspect of this role.
- Add/Upgrade the tools to improve teams efficiency.
- Advising on base WMi changes as required
- Review of changes within base WMi as required
- Managing High pressure incidents Key Qualifications 7+ professional experience of software development using agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in iSeries, RPG, CL, SQL is required.
- Must have experience with supply chain domain.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent required.
- Hands on experience in Manhattan WMi Functional Configurations in the following Modules ( not limited ) Warehouse Management, Picking, Packing, Pelleting.
- Experience implementation, configuring and supporting Manhattans iSeries based WMi solution is a plus.
- Ability to partner with other technical teams to ensure WMi solutions are integrated properly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and resolution skills
- Able to work effectively and produce consistent result with minimal supervision
- Curiosity and a desire to learn.
