Job Description
Senior Consultant Role Overview:
As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate closely with clients in the Travel domain, specifically in the Aviation sector. You will take on a leadership role in delivering projects - providing functional and technical expertise and driving the growth of the Consulting practice. Your role will involve strategic problem-solving, mentoring junior consultants, and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions that align with the client's business objectives.
Mandatory Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Aviation field.
- Experience in Amadeus is mandatory.
- Exposure to Ancillary services is desired.
- Specialised in one or more disciplines is required. Flight Operations, MRO, Revenue Management, Crew Management, Airline PSS.
- Should have a passion for Consulting.
- Should have good exposure across the entire travel value chain.
- Should possess excellent communication and client facing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Project Delivery:
- Lead client engagements, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Manage project timelines, key deliverables, and milestones, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide leadership in agile environments, guiding teams of consultants, product owners, and developers to drive successful project outcomes.
- Lead process mapping workshops, define user personas, and design customer journeys, translating business needs into actionable solutions.
- Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth communication, effective risk management, and conflict resolution during project execution.
Functional & Technical Expertise:
- Provide deep domain and functional expertise to support the selection, design, and implementation of complex technology solutions.
- Facilitate Business analytics by leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to drive data-driven decision-making for clients.
- Oversee the visualization and presentation of complex data to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Lead teams in the development and deployment of innovative solutions that enhance client operations and customer experiences.
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic direction within the practice, identifying areas for innovation and improvement.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by developing best practices, frameworks, and methodologies that improve team performance and delivery outcomes.
Business Development & Practice Growth:
- Play a key role in business development efforts by identifying opportunities, creating proposals, and leading presentations to potential clients.
- Drive the growth of the practice by developing client relationships, identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and expanding the firms market presence.
- Participate in strategic planning for the practice, contributing to go-to-market strategies and service offerings.
- Drives Proposal creation and presales activities for the engagement; new accounts
- Contributes towards the development of practice policies, procedures, frameworks etc

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and drive strategic initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Influence & Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to influence decision-making processes and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.

- Team Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and collaboration across all levels.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to executive-level audiences and facilitate productive discussions.
