Job Description
Job Title: Housekeeper
Location:Canada
Responsibility & Duties:
- Provide janitorial services as required and assigned by Housekeeping Manager
- Clean all guest room washrooms and replenish linen
- Change and make guest room beds to hotel standard
- Sort and separate soiled linens.
- Wet wipe and dust all furniture and artwork in guest rooms or units
- Vacuum, carpets and wash floors in guest rooms or units
- Replenish all required amenities and supplies required in guest rooms or unit
- Clean all appliances in guest rooms or units.
- Remove garbage, separate and store all recyclables in the proper storage bins.
- Turn in all Lost and Found items
- Ensure all keys and radios are signed out and in before leaving your shift daily
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all departments
- Clean and maintain room attendant closets and golf carts
- Follow safe work practices
- Assist with all duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- First Aid/ CPR Certification an asset
- Fluency in English; both written & verbal
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Able to stand/walk for long periods of time, lift & carry up to 30 lbs
- Positive and Can Do Attitude
- Strong communication and team building skills
- Proven ability to multi task
- Demonstrated superior customer service philosophy
Drivers Licence an Asset
Experience: Min 5 years
Type of visa: Transitional Work Permit to Permanent Resident VISA
English level: 50% and above Average
