Job Description

Key Purpose Of The Role:

BiofuelCircle is India s first online marketplace for biomass and biofuels. The Process Engineer will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating manufacturing facilities, developing manufacturing capabilities, and ensuring quality assurance and control to support BiofuelCircle s bioenergy supply chain platform.

Key Tasks:

Source Dedicated Manufacturing Facilities:

Identify and onboard briquette and pellet manufacturing plants onto the BiofuelCircle platform.
Evaluate and shortlist plants as dedicated facilities based on their ratings.
Implement operational excellence programs to improve productivity, quality, delivery performance, health and safety practices, 5-S implementation, visual management, documentation, and inventory management.

Manufacturing Capability Development:

Source and acquire manufacturing equipment and related machinery to enhance productivity and product quality.
Collaborate with equipment manufacturers to develop and innovate new technologies for improving product quality.
Pilot and commercialize new technologies across dedicated manufacturing facilities.

Quality Assurance Control:

Establish quality measurement procedures for platform customers.
Create infrastructure for quality measurement equipment across the marketplace.
Implement visibility of quality profiles for all manufacturers on the digital platform.
Develop advanced quality measurement techniques in collaboration with manufacturers and academic institutions.
