Job Title: Mgr. MEP Procurement & Sub-contracting
Experience: 15 Yrs
Department: Procurement
Job Responsibilities
Finalizing MEP Packages: Involved in the finalization of various MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) packages. Must possess techno-commercial expertise in the following areas:
a) Low Voltage Electrical Package: This includes direct procurement of high-side electrical equipment such as Diesel Generators (DG), Transformers, Panels, etc.
b) Low Side HVAC Packages: Includes procurement of high-side HVAC items such as Chillers, Air Handling Units (AHU), Pumps, and Cooling Towers.
c) Fire Fighting & Plumbing Packages
d) Low Voltage (ELV) Systems: Includes systems like Fire Alarm (FA), Public Address (PA), Access Control, Building Management System (BMS), Security, and IT systems.
Vendor Evaluation & Selection: Responsible for evaluating and selecting vendors, as well as negotiating rates for procurement.
ERP/SAP Usage: Proficient in working within ERP/SAP systems to track and manage procurement and project processes.
RFQ/Tendering & Negotiation: Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ), manage tendering processes, and conduct techno-commercial evaluations and negotiations with vendors.
Agreement Drafting & Finalization: Draft, review, and finalize contracts with suppliers, employers, consulting agencies, and sub-contractors related to engineering projects. Strong drafting skills are required.
Management Proposal Preparation: Responsible for preparing proposals for management approval, ensuring alignment with project and organizational goals.
MIS Reporting: Prepare and present various Management Information System (MIS) reports to senior management for tracking project progress.
Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain effective communication and foster good working relationships with project teams, design departments, and all other stakeholders.
Procurement Timelines: Ensure adherence to strict procurement timelines to meet project schedules.
Education - B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Mandatory
