Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled QA Data Engineer with a strong background in data validation, reporting testing, and ETL processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, strong SQL skills, and exposure to any standard ETL tool. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of data across data pipelines and reporting layers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of data pipelines, transformations, and reporting dashboards.
• Validate data integrity across source systems, ETL processes, and reporting layers.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate large datasets.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI Developers to understand data flow and ensure complete test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with stakeholders for resolution.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and performance across reports and dashboards.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with SQL ability to write complex queries for data validation.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing with a focus on data and reports.
• Working knowledge of any ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, ADF, etc.).
• Exposure to reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView at least from a QA perspective).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with manual testing.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts .
