Job Description

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Splunk infrastructure, including forwarders, indexers, search heads, and deployment servers.

Develop and maintain custom dashboards, alerts, reports, and visualizations for IT, security, and business users.

Onboard and parse new data sources using props.conf, transforms.conf, inputs.conf, and TA development.

Implement and tune use cases in Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) for threat detection, correlation, and incident response.

Collaborate with security, operations, and development teams to define logging requirements and improve visibility.

Monitor Splunk performance and perform troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching as needed.

Automate processes and workflows using scripts (Python, Bash) and Splunks REST API.

Ensure data integrity, retention, and access controls in accordance with security and compliance policies.

Support SIEM operations, including use case development, threat hunting, and incident investigations.

Document architecture, configurations, processes, and runbooks for support and audit readiness.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise in an engineering or administrative role.

Strong knowledge of Splunk data onboarding, parsing, indexing, and query optimization (SPL).

Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and/or ITSI modules.

We are seeking an experienced Splunk Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize our Splunk infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in enhancing the organizations visibility into security, performance, and operational data. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both Splunk Core and Enterprise Security (ES) and capable of creating dashboards, alerts, and custom use cases for stakeholders across the business.
