We are currently seeking applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Pricing and Promotion. As the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Pricing and Promotion, you will hold a senior leadership position focused on delivering best-in-class pricing and promotions process execution. Your responsibilities will include building capabilities to drive efficiencies, informing fact-based decision making, influencing the strategic direction of pricing, promotions, and credit functions, and leveraging analytics to drive actionable insight generation for favorable financial outcomes. You will lead and develop a high-performing team, providing direction, and fostering continuous improvement and innovation. Staying current on industry trends and assessing options for Pricing and Promotions will also be part of your role. Responsibilities - Partner with stakeholders to influence, develop, and implement global pricing and promotions strategy - Develop decision tools and capabilities to drive insights that lead to margin optimization - Monitor and measure the performance of pricing and promotions actions - Analyze business problems to identify alternative courses of action through reporting and analysis - Develop and maintain relationships to influence strategic and business decisions - Lead and develop a high-performing team to ensure best practices are implemented and followed - Communicate, engage, and train partners to ensure appropriate insights and industry trends are understood - Proactively identify risks/opportunities in the business by analyzing trends and forming hypotheses - Partner with Technology to influence the technology roadmap and drive business readiness towards technology changes - Collaborate at a global organization level to drive conversations around capabilities that can be stood up in an offshore model Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills - A bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Retail Management, or a related field is required - Advanced degrees or certifications in Analytics are preferred - Ability to think strategically in developing and executing pricing strategies aligned with overall business objectives specific to the Retail industry - Strong leadership skills for guiding and managing a team, setting clear performance goals, providing mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment in the context of pricing function Preferred Qualifications/ Skills - Ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision making - Solid understanding of financial metrics in the context of pricing and promotion - Customer and category knowledge is an advantage - Experience with statistical modeling and business analytics and ability to work with Python, Teradata, PowerBI, and GCP - Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) used for managing pricing and promotion, including inventory management and financials If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a global organization, we encourage you to apply for the position of Assistant Vice President, Pricing and Promotion at Genpact.
