Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Location: Thousand Lights, Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and Load Schedules for industrial electrical systems.
• Design and develop LV Switchgear SLDs, control schemes, metering and protection diagrams.
• Perform detailed sizing calculations for transformers, diesel generators, UPS, and battery systems.
• Develop cable schedules, lighting, earthing, and lightning protection system layouts and perform necessary calculations.
• Prepare layout drawings, technical specifications, and data sheets for various electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and safety regulations.
• Interface and coordinate with other engineering disciplines, vendors, and contractors as required.
• Participate in design reviews, technical evaluations, and support procurement and construction teams when needed.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years overall experience in electrical engineering within the Oil & Gas
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
