Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with proven experience in the logistics domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to logistics operations. You will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for process improvement, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and enhancing logistics management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements for logistics operations.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to supply chain, transportation, and inventory management.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in logistics processes and systems.
- Develop detailed business process models, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, resolve issues, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
- Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact analyses to assess proposed changes and enhancements.
- Support testing efforts and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on new processes and system functionalities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience 5+ Yrs as a Business Analyst in the logistics domain, preferably within [specific industry if applicable].
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including supply chain, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics management software is a plus.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is desirable.
