Assistant Manager - Plumbing & Fire Fighting @ K Raheja Corp

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Support the plumbing design and engineering of systems for Commercial IT projects at Hyderabad.
• Knowledge on Design consideration of:

- Water demand calculation as per relevant codes for domestic / flushing / hot water system

- Swimming pool filtration plant and landscape drain channeling

- Design of UGT and OHT tanks for PL & FF and space requirement at building level

- Detail design development of PL & FF system with GFC drawings

• Quantity analysis of material to be procured for execution of works based on approved shop drawings
• Testing & commissioning
• Space planning at building level for PL & FF shafts
• Good knowledge on storm water drainage sizing considering rainwater run off calculation, STPs, ETPs Rainwater Management Systems, Industrial Waste Management etc
• Liaison with Government bodies for required approval
• Making of Bills & rate analysis for non-tender items and getting certification for the same from Client with help from billing engineer.
• Preparing cost estimates by studying drawings, specifications and other related documents.
• Study tender document along with tender drawings and specify discrepancies, if any, to the planning team, client / consultant.
• Responsible for allocation of manpower and site staff on Mechanical Projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of budgetary cost consideration and tendering of PL & FF system and rainwater harvesting system.
• Conversant with statutory, NBC codes, PL & FF codes, green building requirements on PL systems.
