Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Infrastructure & Network team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, DevOps, and AIOps, with hands-on experience across multiple technology domains including Windows, VMware, databases, middleware, storage, and backup systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Drive automation initiatives using tools like Ansible to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.
- Leverage AIOps platforms to generate actionable insights, proactively identify issues, and enhance system observability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Monitor and manage infrastructure health, capacity, and performance across hybrid environments.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution.
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during UKI shift hours.
Required Qualifications:
- 710 years of experience in infrastructure and network engineering.
- Strong expertise in:
- Windows Server administration
- VMware virtualisation
- Database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle)
- Middleware platforms
- Storage and backup systems
- Proficiency in Ansible and other automation tools.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with AIOps platforms and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified L1/L2 SRE.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.
