Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for offshore structures and piping systems.
- Interpret engineering specifications, P&IDs, and layout drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, piping, and mechanical teams to ensure design integration.
- Perform clash detection and resolve interface issues using S3D/E3D.
- Generate fabrication and construction drawings with high accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
- Maintain documentation and revision control throughout the design lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in offshore design projects.
- Proficient in S3D (Smart 3D) and/or E3D (AVEVA Everything3D) .
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation .
- Familiarity with offshore codes and standards (e.g., API, DNV, ISO).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
