Location: Noida/ Mumbai/ Pune/ Bangalore/ Noida
PowerBI Lead We are seeking a seasoned Power BI Team Leader with 7-9 years of experience to lead our BI team and drive advanced analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI and SQL, combined with proven leadership skills. Experience in migrating reports and dashboards from Tableau, Profitbase to Power BI is highly desirable to support our BI platform transition strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Power BI developers in delivering scalable, high-quality BI solutions.
Oversee the migration of Tableau reports and dashboards to Power BI, ensuring functional and visual parity.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business needs.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to support data extraction and reporting.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Establish and enforce BI development best practices, governance, and standards within the team.
Conduct technical reviews, provide guidance, and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
Monitor and improve the performance of Power BI reports and data models.
Coordinate with data engineering, analytics, and IT teams for seamless data integration and quality assurance.
Stay current with BI trends, tools, and migration best practices to continually improve team efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7-9 years of experience in Power BI development and business intelligence.
Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries.
Demonstrated experience leading BI teams and projects.
Proven track record in migrating dashboards and reports from Tableau to Power BI.
Expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M language), and report/dashboard design.
Familiarity with relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities..
Good to Have -
Certification in Power BI or related BI technologies.
Experience with other BI tools and ETL processes.
