Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (Python, Selenium, Cucumber)
Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber to join our QA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust automation test scripts using Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber.
- Implement BDD frameworks to promote collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers for quick resolution.
- Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for better performance and coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in automation testing with Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber (or Behave for Python).
- Strong understanding of BDD principles and frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
