Job Description
- As a Principal Legal Counsel in the Office of Integrity and Compliance at our Legal Department, you will be a key member of the team with a focus on legal and compliance matters. We are looking for a legal professional with 12 to 18 years of relevant experience in a legal and compliance role, particularly with expertise in essential elements of Corporate Compliance programs. Your role will involve working closely with highly skilled legal professionals to provide legal and compliance solutions to our business. Your primary responsibility will be to manage technology and self-assessment based Enterprise-wide Compliance management programs for the entire Infosys Group. Based in Bangalore, you will have independent experience in various areas, including implementing and adopting the Infosys Whistleblower Program with global and regional reach. Your role will involve handling global investigations, negotiating and implementing remediations, and contributing to Compliance & Integrity Plans. Moreover, you will need to have exposure to key compliance and regulatory regimes applicable to Infosys, such as Whistleblower Regulations, Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Confidentiality, and related processes and controls. While experience in Analytics and Automation for risk evaluation and mitigation is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite for the role. You will also be responsible for reviewing and improving whistleblower systems, employee feedback mechanisms, conducting trainings, and communications to enhance and grow the whistleblower program in alignment with industry standards. Additionally, you will interpret new regulations and laws, proactively administer policies, conduct trainings, and handle complaints, investigations, and remediation processes effectively.
