Job Description

As a Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will utilize your 5+ years of engineering experience to design and develop highly performant enterprise scale web applications. Your expertise in Ruby on Rails, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, messaging, various databases, and preferably Python will be crucial for this role. Experience in cloud services such as AWS and/or Azure is required, along with making architectural decisions on coupling, APIs, non-functional requirements, and different environments like serverless/containers/VM. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating expert level knowledge of Git, relevant unit test frameworks, and working with agile software development methodologies. Strong communication skills are a must-have in this position. Additionally, familiarity with JavaScript, React, writing automated tests, managing test data, and observability will be beneficial. This is a contract role for 6 to 12 months, requiring immediate availability. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with the job location being in-person in Pune. The role offers Provident Fund benefits. You will be expected to answer questions regarding your overall experience, years of experience in Ruby on Rails, Rest API & GraphQL API, Python, Postman, Jenkins, cloud services, Agile methodologies, immediate availability, willingness for a 6-month contract, location, and current/expected CTC.
