Job Description
- We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in manual and automation testing to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for designing and executing manual test cases, as well as developing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, and collaboration with development teams to drive high-quality software releases. In your role as an SDET, you will have the following responsibilities: Manual Testing Responsibilities: - Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data. - Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing on web, mobile, and API applications. - Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools such as TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Automation Testing Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, API, and database testing. - Implement and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or RestAssured. - Ensure high test coverage through automation and continuously improve the framework for better efficiency. The qualifications required for this role include: - 2+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation). - Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies. - Expertise in test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and tracking. - Proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation. - Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest. - Familiarity with version control systems (Git, TFS) and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
