Job Description

    As an experienced professional with a background in Industries such as Telecom and/or Media & Entertainment, you will play a crucial role in the pre-sales activities for the portfolio. Your responsibilities will include evangelizing and enhancing the pre-sales competencies within at least one domain, as well as conducting account mining activities to identify new business opportunities within the portfolio. Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with SBU heads, Region heads, Client Partners, and Account Executives to develop and execute portfolio strategies that align with SBU targets. By taking ownership of the BD function for the portfolio, you will contribute to increasing the Win Ratio of deals while adhering to the guidelines of the BU. For larger opportunities, your support in solution detailing, articulation, and client conversations will be vital. You will be responsible for responding to opportunities by crafting comprehensive RFP responses and working with all stakeholders to design a compelling proposition as part of the bid response. Additionally, you will assist in solution development and articulation based on the scope and requirements outlined in RFPs. Your role will also involve coordinating pre-sales activities, such as client visits, gathering industry information, and managing stages of the pre-sales cycle like RFIs and lead generation. Your ability to learn and contribute across different functional areas, including the software development lifecycle, will be beneficial in this dynamic environment. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute to the development of solutions for pre-sales, manage sections of deal responses, and highlight the Unique Selling Proposition of Cognizant solutions. Strong communication, team collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills will be essential in driving the success of pre-sales initiatives.
