Job Description
- You will be joining Genpact as an Assistant Manager/Manager for the Record to Report (R2R) function within the Finance and Accounting (F&A) practice. Your role will involve various responsibilities related to month-end closing activities, corporate reporting, financial statement preparation, client P&L reviews, balance sheet and expense account analysis, bank reconciliations, intercompany balance reviews, financial reporting, FP&A, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting by business line. Your key responsibilities will include preparing journal entries, monthly financial statements, financial reporting for forecast and budget, client P&L reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis of expense accounts, coding invoices, bank reconciliations, intercompany balance reviews, monthly management packs preparation, variance analysis, and participation in proposals and transformation projects. You will play a crucial role in improving metrics and cost efficiency of R2R processes. To be successful in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or an MBA with relevant experience in F&A, particularly in the RTR process. Experience in the insurance industry will be advantageous. You should possess a strong understanding of accounting concepts, attention to detail, quick response time, ability to handle varying workloads, meet deadlines, strong organizational and computer skills, and effective communication with stakeholders. As a preferred qualification, you should be a passionate individual who can contribute to standard process improvements in Accounting and Reporting areas. It is essential that you have a good grasp of accounting concepts, processes, key controls, policies, reporting, and budgeting principles.
