We are seeking a Senior Principal Consultant, Power BI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high-quality deliverables, while being open to learning new technologies. Your responsibilities will include understanding data preparation and modeling for visualization, gathering reporting requirements, architecting solutions, and delivering reports promptly. You will design intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI for data-driven decisions, monitor performance, fine-tune dashboards, and optimize them. Experience in connecting to multiple data sources through Power BI, publishing and sharing dashboards, scheduling data refreshes, and handling complexity in visualization or data is essential. You should have strong SQL skills, preferably in SQL Server, and expertise in data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. Experience with ETL tools, particularly SSIS, is a plus. You will interpret business requirements, possess a strong understanding of Power BI user security configurations, and have excellent communication skills. Minimum qualifications include a BE/B Tech/MCA degree, while preferred qualifications include conceptual knowledge of other BI tools and experience in an Azure environment. You should have experience in creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI, working with Power BI Desktop, Gateway, Service, and Report Server, and implementing Row Level Security and Dataset design. Solid SQL reporting skills and the ability to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis are required. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, a research and analytics approach, and be proficient in working with numbers.
