Job Description
Maximo Architect
Required Skills
Assess the current Maximo environment, including customizations, integrations, and third-party applications.
Identify infrastructure, integration, and customization gaps to ensure alignment with new system requirements.
Lead the technical team through the upgrade process using industry best practices.
Provide expert guidance and technical support throughout the upgrade lifecycle.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues that may arise before, during, or after the upgrade.
Optimize the Maximo platform for long-term scalability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct an in-depth review of the existing Maximo architecture, identifying technical and functional customizations, dependencies, and integration points.
Identify system and infrastructure gaps that may affect the upgrade. Provide actionable recommendations to ensure compatibility and future readiness.
Lead the technical execution of the Maximo upgrade, ensuring adherence to best practices, minimal downtime, and a smooth cutover.
Serve as the technical point of contact for all upgrade-related activities. Guide cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the upgrade strategy.
Resolve critical technical challenges encountered during the upgrade. Apply deep knowledge of Maximo and related technologies to maintain system health.
Post-upgrade, implement improvements to enhance system performance, security, and maintainability. Stay current on Maximo advancements to drive continuous improvement.
