Job Description
- The primary responsibility of this role is to manage operations efficiently. You will be expected to take End to End Ownership of the Process, ensuring profitability and increasing revenue per agent. Continuous improvement of processes through automation implementation is a key part of this role. Building strong working relationships and mentoring team leaders is essential. Effective communication with clients and various levels within the organization is a crucial aspect of this position. You must possess strong analytical and fact-based decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze and report complex data for enterprise and reporting purposes. Monitoring employee performance and providing feedback to ensure SLAs are met is also part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in retail mortgage underwriting or Credit Decision operations, with a preference for Australian mortgage domain expertise. A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in core operations delivery is required. Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills are necessary for this role. Strong control, process, and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to execute, influence, and drive results. Proven experience in analyzing and transforming operating models to enhance efficiency and effectiveness through technology enhancements, process re-engineering, policy, governance, and organizational structure improvements is required. The successful candidate must possess very strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large data sets and identify targeted, crisp messages. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate complex alternatives and choose appropriate solutions are critical. Creativity in problem analysis and resolution in challenging situations is highly valued. Leadership skills, the ability to influence outcomes, and drive resolutions are key attributes needed for this role. A quick understanding of a complex matrix of product/reporting systems across the infrastructure and their interrelationships and dependencies is essential. Outstanding leadership, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities are required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with Executive Leadership, various levels within the organization, and clients. This role also involves End to End Ownership of the Process, Team Performance, Attendance, and a Passion for work Excellence.
