Java Technical Manager @ Cognizant

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Java developers to design, develop, test, and deploy microservices using Spring Boot.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Ensure high-quality code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
  
• Develop and maintain complex software applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  
• Participate in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 11-18 years of experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
  
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns, and data structures.
  
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications with multiple integrations (e.g., REST APIs).
  
• Proficiency in writing clean, modularized code that follows best practices for scalability, performance, security.
