Job Description
- The responsibilities of this role include coordinating and overseeing day-to-day mining operations, such as extraction, transportation, and stockpiling of coal. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational procedures. Managing and optimizing equipment utilization, maintenance, and availability to meet production targets will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of mining staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan and execute mine development and expansion projects is essential. Monitoring and analyzing operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost optimization will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be required to prepare operational reports, budgets, and forecasts to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. It is important to stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to enhance operational performance. The qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering and a minimum SCC in CMR. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the coal mining industry is required, with a proven track record of managing operational activities and driving process improvements.,
