Job Description
- You will be joining Cognizant's Corporate Strategy team, working closely with senior executives to drive and execute the company's strategic agenda across four key focus areas. These areas include market and competitive intelligence, global strategy definition, strategy support and guidance at various levels, and strategy execution. As a Manager within the Corporate Strategy team, you will play a crucial role in managing workstream execution, driving impact, and engaging with senior leaders across the organization. Your responsibilities will involve structuring problems, planning work, conducting analyses, and formulating recommendations for significant pieces of work within projects. You will collaborate cross-functionally to gather inputs from internal and external sources, synthesize findings, and propose recommendations to address critical questions faced by the firm. Additionally, you will support strategy development activities at both corporate and individual business unit levels, ensuring effective communication of strategies to various stakeholders. To excel in this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience in leading strategy consulting firms or similar roles in Corporate Strategy or Business Strategy at renowned companies. Strong academic background, including a degree from a top-tier MBA program, is required. Proficiency in managing workstreams on strategy consulting projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working with ambiguity to drive analytical solutions is essential. Superior analytical skills, along with expertise in MS PowerPoint and Excel for financial modeling and data analysis, are crucial for success in this role. Moreover, your ability to craft compelling narratives, visually engaging slides, and insightful thought leadership content is highly valued. Being collaborative, impact-oriented, and possessing excellent communication skills are key attributes expected in this role. Bonus qualifications include advanced technical skills in tools like Power BI, Alteryx, or Tableau, data visualization and design skills, program management experience, and a background in IT services or technology domains.
