Job Description
- As a Senior Data Scientist at Devu-Solutions, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of Cloud Solution Architects and Enterprise Data Architects, providing advanced solutions in Big Data, Azure, AWS Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, and cloud-based applications. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets from multiple sources, developing and deploying machine learning models, and creating predictive and prescriptive analytics to enhance decision-making processes. Your expertise in statistical and data mining techniques, along with proficiency in Python and/or R, will be key in solving complex business problems. Collaboration with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights will be a crucial part of your role. Working closely with Data Engineers and Software Developers, you will deploy scalable models and present your findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and data science techniques will be essential to drive innovation and excellence in your work. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A minimum of [X] years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI is required, along with proficiency in Python and/or R, and experience with libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation, hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, and Seaborn are also necessary. Additionally, knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop would be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities are essential to excel in this role. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in a relevant field, experience with real-time data pipelines and MLOps, industry experience in sectors like finance, healthcare, or retail, as well as expertise in NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
