Key Responsibilities.

Underwriting Leadership

- Oversee daily operations of the underwriting team, ensuring timely and accurate decisions on loan files.

- Manage underwriting for FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and jumbo loan products.

- Serve as the final escalation point for complex loan scenarios and exceptions.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 7 years of experience in U.S. mortgage underwriting, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

- Strong command of AUS systems (DU, LP) and manual underwriting practices.

- Hands-on experience with Encompass or similar LOS platforms.

- Bachelors degree in finance, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
