Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modelling skills and understanding of Power BI & other such tools, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
- Support the monthly MIS reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
- Requirements:
- MBA, B.Com/ BBM
- 2-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
