Job Description
- Role Overview: As the Deputy - Warehouse Manager at Versuni India Home Solutions, specifically in the FMCD sector under the brand Preethi, based in Chennai Redhills, your main purpose will be to oversee the end-to-end management of the Warehouse function and drive the supply chain strategy for the business. It is essential for you to ensure the achievement of agreed KPIs for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement cost-efficient routing strategies for product deliveries and sales routes - Manage all aspects of finished goods, storage, and distribution on and off-site - Direct and coordinate all warehousing activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, and maintenance - Oversee warehouse loading/unloading, security, and day-to-day operations - Handle tasks related to Warehousing, Distribution, Inventory, and Reverse Logistics - Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures - Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems - Analyze the financial impact of logistics changes and implement improvements - Manage Warehouse Operations of at least 50,000 sqft with exposure to Modern Trade/Retail Industry - Focus on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns, and improved order-to-delivery results - Identify and resolve supply chain constraints through cross-functional collaboration - Provide leadership, coaching, motivation, and development to direct reports Qualifications Required: - Post-graduate education - 8-12 years of experience in warehouse management - Superior analytical and influential skills - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple actions - Understanding of market dynamics and strategic planning Additional Company Details: Versuni India Home Solutions offers cell phone reimbursement, food provision, health insurance, and provident fund benefits to its employees.
