Job Description

Advise students on course selection, academic planning, degree requirements, and educational opportunities.

Monitor student progress and provide individualized academic support plans as needed.

Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and goals to create a clear academic and career roadmap.

Support students at risk of academic failure through intervention strategies, referrals, and follow-ups.

Provide information about scholarships, internships, career pathways, and continuing education options.

Maintain accurate and confidential student records.

Collaborate with faculty, administration, and support services to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and orientation programs on academic skills, time management, and career planning.

Stay up to date with institutional policies, academic programs, and professional trends in education and student counseling.

Bachelors degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field .

Prior experience in academic advising, counseling, or student support services.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of educational systems, learning strategies, and career development practices.

Ability to work with diverse student populations and maintain confidentiality.
