Job Description
- As an Accounting Manager at TAB Surfaces, you will play a crucial role in leading the finance department in Hosur. Your expertise in Indian accounting practices within a private limited manufacturing setup will be instrumental in ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, and leveraging technology for efficiency and insightful reporting. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Financial Oversight:** Manage daily accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting. - **GST Expertise:** Serve as the company's GST subject matter expert, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all GST returns, handling reconciliations, and managing any audits or queries. - **SAP Business One & SQL:** Take ownership of the finance module in SAP B1, utilizing SQL skills for custom financial reports and data analysis. - **Closing & Reporting:** Lead financial closing processes and prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards. - **Statutory Compliance:** Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory regulations including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements. - **Audits & Controls:** Act as the primary contact for auditors, developing and maintaining internal controls. - **Team Leadership:** Mentor and develop the accounting team to foster accuracy and efficiency. **Qualifications & Skills:** - **Experience:** 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience in a private limited manufacturing company in India. - **Education:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, professional certification (CA / CMA) preferred. - **Technical Skills:** Expert-level proficiency in SAP Business One and strong SQL skills. - **Functional Skills:** Deep expertise in Indian GST laws, Ind AS, corporate law, and taxation. - **Attributes:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and leadership qualities.
