Job Description
- As a Senior Automation Engineer at our company, you will be an integral part of the dynamic QA team, responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java/Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright. - Implementing Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks using Cucumber for efficient test automation. - Developing and executing API automation tests to validate web services functionality and performance. - Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Git and popular CI tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI. - Performing hands-on problem solving, debugging, and root cause analysis of automation issues. - Collaborating with development and QA teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases. - Ensuring thorough regression testing and reliable automation coverage of critical business flows. - Working in cloud-based test environments to execute and maintain scalable automation tests. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python programming languages. - Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Playwright. - Strong knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber. - Experience in API automation testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured. - Working experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps. - Solid problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. - Good understanding of software QA methodologies, processes, and best practices. - Experience in working with cloud-based environments such as AWS and Azure. Additionally, it would be advantageous to have: - Experience in Performance Testing using tools like JMeter. - Database testing experience using SQL queries. - Exposure to containerization tools like Docker.
