Job Description
- As a Lead Engineer Design and Development at Siemens Healthineers, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Molecular Imaging-based scanner products. You will work in a team dedicated to delivering product features and solutions for customers, contributing to better patient outcomes in the healthcare industry. This position offers a positive and creative work environment, top-notch benefits, and flexible work schedules to support your professional growth within the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive the requirement analysis, design, implementation, and integration test of system calibration features for SPECT & PET scanners. - Lead efforts to understand user needs, propose innovative solution concepts, demonstrate feasibility, gather early feedback, and execute according to defined plans. - Write and review technical documentation. - Troubleshoot issues reported by the test team or customers. - Evaluate new technologies, refactor and redesign existing solutions. - Coach and mentor less experienced team members. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or ECE. - 7-10 years of professional desktop or web application development experience with proven expertise in C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and Java Script. - Strong analytical and software engineering skills. - Experience in design review, code reviews, and integrating software components in large systems. - Familiarity with dependency injection framework. - Team player with leadership capabilities to motivate team members and possess good knowledge of Object-Oriented Architecture and Design (OOA/OOD). - Hands-on experience with unit testing (using NUnit) and Mocking Frameworks. - Proficiency in analyzing, implementing, and troubleshooting non-functional requirements like Performance Analysis, Memory Profiling, Stability, using tools like WPA, WinDbg. - Experience with Agile Development practices and tools like TFS. - Preferred knowledge of syngo.via/native syngo platform and Medical Imaging and Healthcare domain (Clinical Workflow).
