Sr Quality Automation Engineer @ BMC Software

Job Description

You will be joining BMC as a Senior QA Engineer in the DSOM product line, contributing to the success of BMC and your own by: - Performing manual tests and automation development using Java - Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback - Creating detailed test plans and test cases - Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities - Collaborating with various teams to ensure quality testing To ensure your success in this role, you should have: - 10+ years of hands-on Software Quality Assurance experience - 5+ years of test cases automation development experience using Selenium & Java - At least 3+ years of experience in Performance Testing using JMeter - Experience with automation frameworks, regression testing, and various testing frameworks - Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Github - Experience with large scale enterprise products and fundamental design principles - Proficiency in Agile development methodology, CI/CD using Jenkins, and container-based apps - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCI - Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills - Experience with AI based platforms and technologies is a plus Nice to have skills that our team can help you develop include: - Test Automation experience, Scripting skills - Performance testing frameworks - Agile methodology - Jenkins CI BMC values its people and encourages talents from diverse backgrounds to apply.
