Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through automation and testing. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing your strong programming background in JavaScript/TypeScript to write well-structured automation code - Hands-on experience using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript for automation tasks - Designing, building, and optimizing scalable automation frameworks - Conducting API testing using Playwright, Axios, or similar libraries - Validating backend systems with SQL/PostgreSQL/MySQL - Integrating automation pipelines with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI - Solving problems efficiently in dynamic product environments and driving continuous improvements - Leading test strategy discussions and actively participating in Agile ceremonies - Owning test plans, strategies, and release documentation - Mentoring junior team members on coding, automation, and testing best practices - Demonstrating a deep understanding of QA methodologies, Agile principles, and the software test lifecycle Additionally, it would be nice to have experience with cloud environments (particularly AWS), familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and microservices, and exposure to performance and security testing tools and strategies.
