Job Description
- As an Embedded Systems Lead in the field of Drones, UGVs, & Robotics based in Hyderabad, your role will involve architecting, developing, and optimizing embedded platforms for UAVs, UGVs, and autonomous robotics systems. You will focus on enhancing capabilities in battery optimization, obstacle avoidance, and navigation autonomy to ensure reliable embedded solutions in dynamic and rugged environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop embedded solutions with a focus on autonomy and reliability - Optimize firmware for microcontrollers and real-time processing - Collaborate on Battery Management Systems (BMS) for power efficiency - Integrate sensor fusion algorithms for obstacle avoidance and navigation - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware-software co-design alignment Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Robotics, or related fields - At least 8 years of experience in embedded systems development, particularly in drones, UGVs, robotics, or aerospace electronics - Proficiency in Embedded C/C++, RTOS, low-level driver development, power management, sensor fusion, and control systems - Experience with communication protocols, PCB design tools, and debugging techniques - Preferred skills include familiarity with AI/ML inference on embedded platforms, motor control, ESC optimization, propulsion systems, and knowledge of safety-critical systems and functional safety standards - Personal attributes such as a problem-solving mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for cutting-edge autonomous systems are highly valued The compensation offered is competitive and will be based on your experience and capabilities.
