Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Civil Engineer / Lead Engineer Land Development Projects
Location: Banaswadi / Kothanur
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 6-10 Years
Key Responsibilities
Drafting and Detailing:
- Generate plans, sections, and details from sketches and verbal instructions from clients.
- Create construction plans, including
- Existing Conditions
- Dimensioned Site Plans
- Site Grading & Drainage Plans
- Site Utility Plans
- Roadway Plans and Profiles
- Detailed Street Intersection Designs
- Utility Plans and Profiles
- Drainage and Hydraulic Structure Designs
- Record of Survey Drawings
- Houseline Plats, ALTA, and Subdivision Maps.
- Perform map checking.
Review and Correction:
- Collaborate with engineers to modify plans based on mark-ups and revisions.
- Revise plans according to feedback from clients, managers, and agencies.
- Conduct self-reviews for accuracy before submission.
Construction Documentation:
- Provide CAD drafting support for plan sets and other drawings.
- Organize and coordinate drafted documents.
Coordination and Documentation:
- Work with architects and other engineers to ensure design coordination.
- Maintain all CAD-related files for clients.
Requirements Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, Autodesk AEC Suite.
- Ability to create and manipulate construction details and cross-sections.
- Understanding of drafting requirements for various stakeholders and coordination between multiple agencies.
- Competence in preparing topographic maps, record surveys, and subdivision maps.
- Experience in analysing engineering reports and drawings.
- Ability to perform boundary calculations and earthwork modeling.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development projects,
including:
- Soil Erosion Plans
- Site Layouts
- Grading Plans
- Utility Management using Civil 3D
- Experience handling international projects (US/Canada/UK) is an advantage.
