Consultant - Application Developer @ Opentext

Your Impact:

The Application Developer will oversee the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications that meet business requirements. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and excellent problem-solving skills. He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable application solutions while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

What the Role Offers:

1. Application Design & Development
   • Development of enterprise-level applications.
   • Ensure best practices, coding standards, and scalable solutions are implemented.
2. Project Management
   • Participate in the planning and estimation of projects.
   • Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones while managing risks and issues.
   • Report status, metrics, and deliverables to senior leadership.
3. Application Maintenance & Support
   • Monitor application performance and provide solutions for optimization.
   • Troubleshoot application issues and implement enhancements as necessary.
   • Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of deployed solutions.
4. Stakeholder Management
   • Serve as the technical point of contact for application-related initiatives.
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify application improvements and new opportunities for innovation.

What you Need to Succeed:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application development, with at least 2 years in a senior developer role.
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Expertise in programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Angular/React Js) and modern frameworks.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
