Job Description
Job Title: Senior OIC Developer Oracle Fusion Applications
Location: Chennai
Work Mode: Onsite / Hybrid (as per project requirement)
Work Timings: Regular Business Hours
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer with 810 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing integrations across Oracle Fusion Applications and third-party systems. The role requires strong expertise in integration patterns, middleware, and cloud-native services to enable seamless data and process flows between Oracle Fusion (ERP, HCM, SCM, PPM) and other enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integration Development & Implementation
- Design, develop, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, PPM).
- Build real-time and batch integrations using OIC adapters (SOAP, REST, File, FTP, DB, ERP, HCM).
- Implement process automations, orchestrations, and data mappings within OIC.
- Develop complex transformation logic using XSLT, Groovy scripts, and custom functions.
- Build custom connectors and APIs where required.
2. Integration Architecture & Design
- Participate in solution design workshops with architects and functional leads.
- Define integration patterns, error handling frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Ensure integrations follow best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
- Support hybrid integration models (Fusion SaaS, on-premise apps, third-party cloud).
3. Support & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues in production/test environments.
- Work on incident/problem tickets related to OIC integrations.
- Provide post-go-live support for Oracle Fusion implementations.
- Optimize existing integrations for performance and cost efficiency.
4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with functional consultants (Finance, HCM, SCM) to gather requirements.
- Coordinate with client IT teams and vendors for integration endpoints.
- Prepare and maintain integration design documents, mappings, and support playbooks.
- Mentor junior developers in OIC and integration standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 810 years of IT experience with at least 46 years in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Strong experience integrating Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, PPM) with external systems.
- Proficiency in OIC components:
- Integrations (App Driven, Scheduled)
- Process Automation
- Visual Builder (preferred)
- File/FTP, SOAP, REST, DB, ERP, and HCM adapters
- Hands-on experience in:
- REST API & SOAP web services (development & consumption)
- Data transformations using XSLT and mappings
- Error handling, logging, and monitoring frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Fusion Application Web Services/APIs (ERP/HCM Cloud).
- Exposure to Oracle SOA Suite, OSB, ODI (added advantage).
- Knowledge of cloud security, authentication, and data privacy.
- Experience in Agile/DevOps delivery models.
- Strong communication and client interaction skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud Certifications (OIC, Fusion ERP/HCM/SCM).
- Experience integrating with banking systems, payroll, CRM, and legacy apps.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated deployment tools.
