Job Description
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in quantitative field (CS, statistics, applied math, ML, etc.)
- Strong Python programming skills with expertise in libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn
- Experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI, PowerPoint
- Predictive modeling expertise (Time Series, Multivariable, Causal models)
- Proficient in applying and tuning various ML techniques
- Skilled in building scalable systems for large datasets and KPI-driven analysis
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Adaptable to fast-paced, multi-project environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Data Scientists
- Engage with internal/external stakeholders to gather business requirements and data
- Develop project plans and manage sprints to meet milestones and deliverables
- Set up and optimize cloud infrastructure (VMs, clusters) for DS workflows
- Build robust data pipelines and ensure data quality through validation
- Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and define metrics before model building
- Research existing solutions prior to building ML/DL models tailored for business goals
- Optimize data models and efficiently query large datasets
- Develop, validate, and scale ML/DL algorithms and integrate them into client systems
- Create user-friendly applications and scenario simulators for business consumption of outputs
- Write test cases, debug, and ensure production-quality code
- Document all project details and track issues or exceptions
- Measure impact on business metrics and refine processes based on feedback
