Position Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Product Owner with deep domain expertise in Credit Collection and Loan Origination Systems (LOS), along with a solid understanding of UI/UX principles and hands-on involvement in functional testing. The ideal candidate will drive the product vision and roadmap for key digital initiatives in the banking and finance space, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions aligned with customer and stakeholder needs.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
Define and own the product roadmap for features related to Loan Origination and Debt Collection processes (excluding Trade Finance settlement).
Gather and prioritize business and functional requirements through stakeholder collaboration and market analysis.
Translate business needs into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure intuitive and user-centric product experiences.
Oversee end-to-end functional testing, ensuring coverage of edge cases and regulatory requirements.
Manage and groom the product backlog, ensuring stories are ready for development and aligned with sprint goals.
Work closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Facilitate UAT, ensure user readiness, and support training documentation and knowledge transfer.
Continuously monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and identify opportunities for product enhancements
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Must-to-Have Skills:
Strong domain knowledge in Banking and Finance, particularly in Loan Origination and Debt Collection
Experience defining and owning product roadmaps and backlogs
Strong understanding of UI/UX Design principles and ability to collaborate with design teams
Familiarity with Payment Processing flows (basic level)
Hands-on involvement in functional testing, test planning, and validation
Ability to create and interpret process and data flow diagrams
Proficient in tools such as Visio, JIRA, and Confluence
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with automation testing tools or test management platforms
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
Exposure to Bitbucket or similar version control tools
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in the financial services industry
