Job Description

An OPC Manager is typically a Quality or Operational Performance Manager responsible for ensuring that controls, procedures, and quality management systems are in place to maintain high standards and compliance within an organization, particularly in regulated environments. Key responsibilities include defining and maintaining the Quality Management System, supervising quality assurance activities, ensuring adherence to customer requirements, and managing the performance of the department to meet business objectives and standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight:Establishing, implementing, and maintaining the QMS to ensure conformity to customer and company standards.
  • Quality Assurance Supervision:Leading and supervising the Quality Assurance (QA) team, including inspectors, to ensure high productivity and technical integrity.
  • Compliance & Standards:Ensuring all quality and testing activities meet customer requirements, specifications, and company standards.
  • Process Improvement:Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality procedures, inspection criteria, and work practices.
  • Reporting:Reporting on the performance of the QMS to top management and highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Deficiency Correction:Investigating and rectifying deficiencies related to customer requirements or specifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Coordinating with other departments, such as production and customer inspection teams, to meet quality goals.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Leadership:Proven ability to lead and manage teams, providing direction and support.
  • Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, testing procedures, and relevant industry standards.
  • Communication:Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including management and operational staff.
  • Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze performance data, identify risks, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Process Management:Experience in developing, documenting, and implementing quality processes and procedures.
