Job Description
Minimum qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience 2 years of experience in program or project management Experience with technical operations and program management methodologies Preferred qualifications:
2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects Knowledge of project management methodologies Ability to learn new technologies and approaches Ability to work with and formulate AI based solutions Excellent problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues and develop solutions Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders About The Job

As a Program Manager at Google, youll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish ? working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company
Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres
It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more
Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites
As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world Responsibilities
Design and deliver predictable program communication plans in collaboration with program stakeholders, including communications by stakeholder type Determine phasing and metrics associated with program life-cycle that address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources) in close collaboration with program stakeholders, including objectives Build relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of program stakeholders and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer
