Linux Administrator @ Enoah Isolution

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize Linux-based systems and servers. The role requires expertise in troubleshooting, system configuration, web/mail server setup, database management, and security practices. The ideal candidate will proactively ensure system stability, security, and high availability.

• Administer Linux systems: installation, configuration, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery.

• Manage user accounts including creation, deletion, and password resets.

• Monitor system activities, disk space, memory usage, and maintain overall security.

• Work with the Command Centre for issue resolution and problem management.

• Install and configure web servers (Apache, Nginx) and mail servers (Postfix, Sendmail).

• Handle DNS issues, domain configuration in Virtual Hosts (Vhosts), and SSL certificate setup.

• Support and monitor web server issues, user sessions, and filesystem utilization.

• Install/configure Linux modules, packages, and manage mail queues.

• Setup/configure MySQL servers, recover corrupted databases/tables, and execute basic queries.

• Strong knowledge of LAMP installation and troubleshooting.

• Configure automated backups, schedule cron jobs, and verify logs.

• Use version control systems like GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket.

• Identify and prevent issues with a proactive approach to problem management.

• Strong hands-on experience in Linux system administration.

• Good understanding of networking, system security, and log monitoring.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
